             XP Additional Information
             -------------------------

XPMenu.cfg Menu Descriptor file:
--------------------------------
In your install directory is a file called XPMenu.cfg. This file dictates
which options will appear on your XP startup (menu) screen immediately
after you type XP. You can add to or change this file with any standard
text editor (e.g. edlin) to customise XP's startup screen according to your
particular needs. Each line of XPMenu.cfg must be of the following format
and there must be no blank lines in or at the end of the file:

filename.exe, DiskName, ChannelFilesExt, y, C:\XP\,
              Menu {T}itle, EnvironmentVar

Each field of the above line is described below:
filename.exe This is the name of the .exe or .com file you wish
                   to execute.
DiskName This is the name of the install disk (either "Install"
or "Program" where the install program will find the file.
ChannelFilesExt This is the dos filename extension for the relevant
                   transceiver's channel files.
y This should be either y or n and dictates whether
or not you wish to be asked to press a key to continue
after execution of filename.exe is complete.
C:\XP\ If your program needs to be executed from a particular
directory, you may specify that directory here. XP will
change to that drive and directory before executing
filename.exe. THIS PARAMETER IS OPTIONAL. HOWEVER, IF
YOU DO NOT SPECIFY IT, THE COMMA IS STILL REQUIRED.
Menu {T}itle This is the text you want to appear on the screen
for this entry. The {} can be used to surround a
"hot-key" which can then be used to select the entry.
EnvironmentVar Please don't edit the environment variables already defined
in the existing lines. They are used to define the behavior
of the XP programm depending on the transceiver type.
